Boat Collision in Lamu Critically Injures Four

Four individuals sustained critical injuries when two vessels with 19 people onboard collided and sank near Kilindi in Lamu County during Friday morning.

The Kenya Red Cross reported multiple passengers were injured, prompting an immediate response from rescue teams and local divers.

The humanitarian organization confirmed that four critically injured individuals were transported to King Fahad Hospital for specialized medical care.

Fourteen passengers with minor injuries received medical attention at the location of the incident.
