Two suspects evaded capture early Tuesday morning, April 21st, 2026, leaving behind items suspected to be stolen from Full Gospel Mission Church in Mowlem, Nairobi. The incident occurred after they noticed police officers conducting patrols near Dandora Bridge in the Mwengenye Saika area.
According to authorities from Obama Police Station in Kayole Sub-County, the officers were performing their standard early morning patrol when they observed the two individuals behaving suspiciously while carrying luggage across the bridge.
Upon realizing they had been detected, the suspects immediately discarded their belongings and fled on foot before officers could apprehend them.
A search of the abandoned articles revealed various household goods and electronic devices, in addition to a metal bar that investigators suspect was utilized to force entry into the church.
Initial inquiries connected the recovered property to Full Gospel Mission Church located in the Mowlem Powerline area.
Law enforcement is currently tracking down the two suspects, with investigations continuing to identify and apprehend those involved in the church burglary.
