Deputy Inspector-General of Police Visits Mandera County to Bolster Security
The Deputy Inspector-General of the Kenya Police, Mr. Douglas Kanja, has concluded a high-level working tour of Mandera County, underscoring the National Police Service’s commitment to securing the restive region. The visit was aimed at assessing the operational readiness of police units and bolstering the multi-agency strategy in the fight against terrorism and cross-border crime. The DIG held crucial meetings with frontline officers and the County Security Committee to review ongoing operations and address logistical challenges.

A central part of the DIG’s agenda was to boost the morale of the officers stationed in the challenging environment.
