KNEC Opens Online Registration for 2026 Business and Technical Exams July 6

Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) declared that registration for the 2026 Business and Technical examinations will commence on July 6 and conclude on September 11. According to a circular released on Tuesday, June 2, the registration encompasses institutional candidates, including those undertaking Business single and group subjects, prior to the November series practical and theory exams scheduled from November 16 to December 4. “The registration process for November 2026 Business and Technical examinations will begin on July 6, 2026,” the circular specified. KNEC directed that all registrations must be completed online through the official portal available through its website. Furthermore, KNEC presented other important dates for registration and administration of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) examinations for the 2026/2027 academic year. For the March 2027 series, registration will be conducted from November 2, 2026, to January 8, 2027 for examinations planned from March 15 to April 2, 2027. Registration for the July 2027 series will occur from March 1 to May 7, 2027, preceding exams scheduled from July 19 to August 6, 2027. The circular indicated that the deadline for submitting Course Work Assessment (CWA) and project marks for the November 2026 series will be October 23, 2026, while for the March 2027 series it will be February 26, 2027, and for the July 2027 series it will be June 25, 2027. Advance instructions collection will occur on October 12, 2026, for the November 2026 series, February 15, 2027, for the March 2027 series, and June 14, 2027, for the July 2027 series. Hospitality practical papers planning is set for November 11, 2026, for the November 2026 series, March 10, 2027, for the March 2027 series, and July 14, 2027, for the July 2027 series. The council also established milestone data entry periods, with Milestone One, Two, and Three arranged between September to October 2026 for the November series, January to February 2027 for the March series, and May to June 2027 for the July series. The council stressed that no late registration will be permitted and urged strict adherence to the published schedules.
