Bungoma County residents recently took part in a public participation forum to provide input on the medium-term budget for the 2024-2025 and 2026-2027 financial years.
The forum was led by Principal Secretary for Micro, Medium, and Small Enterprises, Susan Mang’eni, who emphasized the significance of public and stakeholder engagement in major county decisions.
Residents were encouraged to identify key priorities for the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda and offer suggestions on resource allocation to ensure the budget aligns with community needs.
The exercise is part of a nationwide initiative and is expected to be completed in all counties by the end of the week.
