The move aligns with directives from Governor Ahmed Abdullahi issued during Jamhuri Day celebrations.
WAJWASCO is prioritizing the sourcing of safe water while implementing measures to ensure its efficient delivery to households across the town. The company is also notifying private water vendors about licensing requirements to improve regulation and service quality. In partnership with the Department of Health, WAJWASCO is enforcing stringent water quality monitoring, with its fully operational laboratory testing water samples regularly. Managing Director Roble Subow emphasized, Our priority is to ensure that the residents of Wajir Town have consistent access to clean and safe water. By working closely with private vendors and health authorities, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards.
