Athletics Kenya Introduces Cool-Down Poetry Circles with Student Poets

To nurture expression, Athletics Kenya launched Poetry Cool-Down Circles at youth camps on September 8, 2025—where athletes write and share 3-line poems on effort, loss, and joy, guided by *Jalada Africa* poets. A race ends—but the story begins, said poet Yvonne Adhiambo Owuor. In trials, 84% of athletes reported improved emotional vocabulary. Selected poems published in *Finish Line II*.
