Sections of the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, encompassing areas near Nairobi and the central highlands, are forecast to stay predominantly cool and overcast, interspersed with brief light rain showers.
Concurrently, extensive areas of northern and eastern Kenya are expected to stay mostly arid.
Arid and semi-arid counties in the northeastern region are predicted to receive minimal to no precipitation, though isolated downpours might occur in localized areas.

The meteorological service also noted that coastal regions are expected to receive rainfall levels ranging from near-average to above-average throughout the season.
The Highlands East of the Rift Valley are anticipated to encounter cool and overcast conditions with light precipitation, while the South-eastern Lowlands and substantial portions of northeastern Kenya are predicted to stay predominantly sunny and arid.
Kenya Met additionally projected temperatures warmer than the national average across most of the country during the season, though cool and overcast conditions with intermittent fog are anticipated in sections of the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, portions of the Rift Valley, the South-eastern Lowlands, and Marsabit county.
