Nyachae Endorses Matiang’i for Presidency, Supports Nyambane in Nyaribari Chache Race

Former Constitution of Kenya Review Commission commissioner Charles Nyachae has thrown his weight behind former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i’s presidential ambitions, highlighting his vast experience and results-oriented approach as qualities that could transform the nation.
Addressing mourners during the Isaac Ayako funeral in Keumbu, Nyaribari Chache Constituency, Kisii County, Nyachae appealed to Kenyans to back leaders dedicated to public service, accountability, and the well-being of citizens.
According to Nyachae, Dr Matiang’i’s extensive public service career showcases his capability to guide Kenya toward economic advancement and enhanced governance.
“Our nation needs leaders who prioritize public service, accountability, and the welfare of ordinary citizens. Fred Matiang’i embodies the attributes required to unite our country and tackle the challenges confronting millions of Kenyans,” Nyachae stated.
During the same occasion, Nyachae also threw his support behind Nyaribari Chache parliamentary hopeful Okeng’o Nyambane, commending his dedication to community advancement and assistance to vulnerable families.
He pointed out that Nyambane has set himself apart through programs focused on improving educational access, healthcare services, and social support for underprivileged households.
“Leadership fundamentally involves serving the people. We require leaders who comprehend community needs and are prepared to work diligently to address them,” he emphasized.
“Dr Fred Matiang’i has exemplified this principle at the national level, while Okeng’o Nyambane has displayed similar dedication at the grassroots level. If these two collaborate, our constituency will accomplish significant progress.”
Nyachae, who holds the position of Non-Executive chairman at the Kenya School of Government, encouraged residents to back both leaders, asserting that their collaboration would expedite development initiatives and bolster representation of people’s interests at both local and national levels.
Nyambane has already garnered support from various local organizations and has committed to maintaining engagement with residents on critical matters such as education, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic opportunities.
These endorsements emerge against a backdrop of intensifying political maneuvers in anticipation of the upcoming General Election, as politicians work to solidify their support bases across different regions of the country.
