functions, with compensation packages worth millions of shillings annually.
One of the well-remunerated positions announced by the U.S. is the Supply
Supervisor position within the General Services Office, offering an annual
remuneration of Ksh1.94 million.
However, as per the Department of State, this particular position has been
limited to internal applicants only. Prospective candidates have until May 21,
2026, to complete their applications.
A Supply Supervisor’s responsibilities include supervising the management of
supplies acquired by the GSO procurement unit, encompassing ordering, stocking,
inventory control, and distribution of both expendable and non-expendable items
within a warehouse framework.
The U.S. is also looking to fill the Protocol Assistant position in the
Executive Office based in Nairobi.

within the Political Office.

grade.
A Senior Political Specialist operates as a senior policy advisor within a
political office, examining local political developments, managing high-level
diplomatic engagements, advising on foreign policy objectives, preparing reports
