Jonah Onkendi expressed appreciation for President William Ruto’s initiative to launch various development projects in Kisii County.
Bonchari parliamentary hopeful Jonah Onkendi praised President William Ruto for initiating multiple projects across Kisii County.
He specifically highlighted Bonchari, noting that the Suneka Airstrip construction would enhance infrastructure and boost local livelihoods.
Addressing residents in Kisii, Onkendi stated that the revitalization of the Suneka Airstrip coupled with road improvements would resolve persistent issues affecting the Kisii population.
“The Sh500 million designated for the Suneka project demonstrates a dedication to balanced development, guaranteeing that all areas progress equally. This marks a significant milestone,” Onkendi remarked.
President Ruto wrapped up an extensive four-day visit to Kisii and Nyamira counties, during which he inaugurated numerous projects and promised ongoing governmental backing for infrastructure and social amenities.
Onkendi, who aims to defeat the current representative Dr. Charles Onchoke in the upcoming elections, stressed the necessity of collaborating with the current administration.
“Continuous cooperation with President Ruto’s administration is crucial for the successful completion and proper upkeep of these initiatives,” he emphasized.
