Governor Wamatangi indicated that the deliberations concentrated on establishing practical alliances that can promote Kiambu’s development while creating fresh economic prospects for both nations.
“Our discussions emphasized building partnerships, particularly in healthcare via telemedicine, agriculture, technology, trade, cyber security and industrialization,” Wamatangi stated, emphasizing that such joint ventures are essential for improving service delivery and stimulating economic expansion.
The governor stressed that the county administration is committed to utilizing technology-based approaches, specifically telemedicine, to enhance healthcare accessibility for local residents. By collaborating with technologically sophisticated countries like Slovakia, Kiambu aims to incorporate innovative solutions that can upgrade healthcare systems and enhance patient results.
Throughout the meeting, Wamatangi reaffirmed that Kiambu County remains receptive to global partnerships and is proactively seeking investors interested in establishing themselves in the area.
“Kiambu County continues to be accessible and prepared to host international investors. We have established supportive frameworks and a favorable atmosphere to encourage investment and business growth,” he mentioned.
He underscored the county’s strategic benefits, such as its closeness to Nairobi, robust infrastructure and substantial agricultural foundation, which together position it as an appealing location for worldwide investors.
The governor also identified the Thika Export Processing Zone as a valuable resource offering investors chances to develop manufacturing and export-focused businesses.
According to Wamatangi, the availability of investment land and the county’s expanding industrial sector provide distinctive possibilities for foreign investors looking to establish or extend their activities in Kenya and the broader East African region.
Ambassador Mitrík endorsed the conversations, expressing Slovakia’s desire to amplify cooperation with Kenyan counties in fields of innovation, agriculture and industrial progress.
The gathering represents a notable advancement in broadening international collaboration at the county level, as Kiambu sustains its efforts to establish itself as a premier location for global investment and technological alliances focused on promoting sustainable development and employment generation.
