Nigerian spiritual leader Primate Elijah Ayodele, who accurately predicted President William Ruto’s 2022 victory, has now turned his focus to Kenya’s political landscape and asserted that the President will secure re-election during the 2027 General Elections.
The religious figure, in his recent prophecy, now suggests that the Head of State could attain a second term under specific circumstances, including the ‘ineffective opposition’.
In a declaration issued on Friday, February 20, Ayodele indicated that Kenya’s current leadership maintains significant political strength and would be challenging to dislodge without a robust opposition alliance.
He contended that only a strong and unified coalition would have the possibility of overcoming Ruto in 2027.
“Only a formidable alliance can remove Ruto. If no such alliance forms, he will secure re-election. With his re-election, the opposition will face challenges, as he will implement new policies that will disrupt the economy,” the spiritual leader stated.
He further claimed that a presidential second term would substantially weaken the opposition and introduce new economic measures that could impact the nation’s financial stability.
Ayodele emphasized the need for opposition unity, warning that without cohesion and strategic planning, their endeavors may not succeed.
His comments arrive as early political realignments and positioning among major political factions and parties are already forming ahead of the 2027 electoral contest.
The spiritual leader, who heads the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, made these statements as part of an extensive prophetic message addressing political and economic developments across multiple African nations.
Beyond Kenya, Ayodele issued concerns about instability in other nations, including South Sudan, where he predicted ongoing stagnation and potential conflict if leadership issues remain unresolved. He suggested that internal divisions surrounding the presidency could further exacerbate tensions.
In Sudan, the spiritual leader warned that clashes orchestrated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) would continue unless opposing factions establish a government of national unity. He also noted possible leadership complications and foreign interference affecting the country’s democratic processes.
Ayodele also projected political strain in Uganda, suggesting the country might experience instability and even an attempted coup.
In January of this year, the spiritual leader in another prophecy warned of potential attempts to destabilize Ruto’s government and the loss of a trusted ally.
Regarding the potential loss of a key ally just one year before the elections, the prophet described it as a significant setback for Ruto’s camp, though he did not specify who might be affected or the details surrounding the potential loss.
