PSC report shows Kalenjin, Kikuyu dominate government job appointments

Kalenjin and Kikuyu communities continue to secure the majority of government positions despite Public Service Commission regulations designed to address ethnic imbalances within the civil service. According to a recent report from the commission, these two ethnic groups constituted more than one-third of all new appointments made by government agencies during the period ending June 30, 2025.
