Two State Corporations Announce Nine Job Vacancies

The Information and Communications Technology Authority and the Kenya Film Commission have announced multiple job openings as both state entities aim to enhance their personnel through a new recruitment initiative.

The ICT Authority called for applications from skilled and experienced professionals to fill six permanent roles at its Nairobi headquarters.

The positions available include Deputy Director for Human Resources and Administration, Assistant Director for Programme Management, Principal Internal Auditor, Principal Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Principal ICT Technical Support Officer, and Principal Legal Officer.

The ICT Authority, a state entity under the Ministry of Information, Communication and the Digital Economy, stated that selected candidates will be offered permanent employment.

Applicants must submit a cover letter, comprehensive curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, a copy of their national identification document, and a completed and stamped self-declaration clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

The authority specified that applications must be submitted electronically through its recruitment platform and received by June 16, 2026.

“Only those selected for shortlisting will be contacted for interviews,” according to the announcement.

The ICT Authority emphasized its commitment to equal opportunity and encouraged applications from women, youth, minority groups, marginalized communities, and individuals with disabilities.

Concurrently, the Kenya Film Commission revealed three positions as part of initiatives to advance the growth and promotion of the nation’s film sector.

The commission aims to hire a Manager for Production Liaison and Coordination, a Film Development Officer II, and an Office Assistant I.

Interested applicants have been requested to provide a cover letter, a detailed CV with references from three referees, copies of academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and a copy of their national identification card or passport.

Applications should be directed to the Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Film Commission and submitted by 5 p.m. on June 21, 2026.

The commission stated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and cautioned that any form of lobbying would result in immediate disqualification.

The Kenya Film Commission reaffirmed its dedication to diversity and gender equality, encouraging women, youth, and persons with disabilities to apply for the available roles.

These recruitment announcements coincide with ongoing efforts by government agencies to find skilled professionals to enhance service delivery and execute their mandates in the digital and creative industries.
