The recognition, revealed on Monday, acknowledges Sawe’s exceptional accomplishments and his contribution to Kenya’s athletic achievements.
Governor Stephen Sang explained that the award served as both an acknowledgment of Sawe’s accomplishments and an indication of the county’s dedication to providing better housing options.
“This honor represents our commitment to fostering excellence while ensuring our residents have access to quality, affordable homes,” he noted.
The residence, worth around KSh 4.8 million, is situated in Kapsabet across from the County Headquarters and close to Kapsabet Boys High School.
It boasts a modern design and superior materials, highlighting the government’s efforts to provide respectable housing.
Governor Sang highlighted that the tribute was not just about honoring Sawe’s individual successes but also about motivating upcoming sportspeople and professionals throughout the county.
“Sebastian Sawe has brought honor to Nandi and to Kenya. By rewarding him in this manner, we inspire others to strive for greatness in their respective areas,” he concluded.
