R&B icon Karyn White is scheduled to perform in Nairobi on May 31, 2026, following a similar event by jazz saxophonist Kenny G just eight months earlier.
The One Night Only concert will take place at the Sarit Expo Centre with Karyn White as the headliner.
“What’s up, Kenya? This is your Superwoman, Karyn White, and I’m so excited to be coming on May 31. I will be performing all your favourite hits for the One Night Only experience. It’s going to be an incredible time and a night to remember.
“So get your tickets, and I’ll see you there,” she said.
The R&B singer, renowned for her hit Superwoman, will lead the 1 Queen, 3 Kings themed show alongside Grammy-winning saxophonist Kirk Whalum.
Whalum is both a skilled musician and an ordained minister with a Master’s degree in Religion. He has released over 25 solo albums throughout his career and worked with music legends such as Luther Vandross, Al Jarreau, Quincy Jones, and Barbra Streisand.
Completing the “3 Kings” lineup are Tanzania’s Ali Kiba, known as the King of Bongo Flava, and Kenya’s Bien from the popular boy band Sauti Sol.
The 2026 One Night Only concert continues the tradition of last year’s successful event featuring Kenny G, which completely sold out with over 2,000 attendees and was recognized as a significant cultural experience.
Organizers characterize this year’s edition as a premium, black-tie occasion intended to match the quality of Las Vegas productions, enforcing an elegant and sophisticated dress code.
Gates will open at 3 pm, with main performances scheduled from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Ticket prices start at KES 5,000 for Early Bird tickets, KES 7,500 for the Gallery category, KES 9,500 for the Middle category, and KES 12,500 for Front Row seats.
Gate tickets will not be available for this event.
