Brookside Term One Games Finals Set in Kisumu

The stage is prepared for an exciting conclusion of the National Brookside Term One School Games, with all final arrangements confirmed following a thrilling day of semi-final matches on Friday.
The Term One Games showcase Rugby, Hockey, Handball, Basketball, and Athletics, gathering top school teams from throughout the nation.
Rugby
During the boys’ rugby semi-finals, Upper Hill School executed a remarkable comeback to narrowly defeat Kakamega School 12-11 in a closely contested match. Kisii School also advanced to the final following a dominant victory against St Mary’s Yala.
Hockey
The boys’ hockey final will feature a renewed rivalry as St Anthony’s Kitale confronts Friends School Kamusinga, a matchup that has become customary at this stage over the last 15 years.
Handball
St Joseph’s Boys Kitale advanced to the final after overcoming St Augustine Matuu. They will now challenge Musingu School in what promises to be a highly competitive contest. The two teams previously faced each other in the group stage, with St Joseph’s winning narrowly 25-24.
Basketball
In boys’ basketball, Friends School Kamusinga pulled off a significant surprise by eliminating tournament favorites Laiser Hill. They will now compete against Lukenya School in the final.
In the girls’ division, Butere Girls and Kaya Tiwi have secured their places in the final through outstanding performances.
