Good Move — Accountability Must Prevail in Busia
Some of the stalled flagship projects in Busia were actually declared complete and even officially handed over by the previous county regime. The truth is now coming out: a number of these projects were either poorly executed, left unfinished, or only completed on paper.
The current Busia County administration has repeatedly been accused of neglecting these projects, yet emerging audits and inspections suggest that the problem dates back to the former leadership. It is becoming clear that taxpayers may have been misled about the true status of key developments.
With the ongoing investigations and mounting evidence, it’s just a matter of time before accountability catches up with those responsible. People are going to prison, my friend — and rightfully so. Busia residents deserve transparency, proper use of public funds, and leadership that puts development first.
