AI Referee Coach Software Analyzes Officiating Performance for Certification

The Kenya Football Referees Association (KFRA) is now using an AI Referee Coach software to grade and develop its officials. The software analyzes match footage to assess a referee’s positioning, decision accuracy, and game management, providing a detailed performance report. It offers objective, continuous feedback. A referee can now track their improvement on specific metrics, just like a player, said the KFRA’s technical director. The tool is being used for promotion and demotion within the refereeing ranks.
