Marsabit County hosted the first Inter-Clan Boccia Tournament for Nomadic Communities on December 3, 2025—made possible by its Solar Nomad Kits (News #315). Twelve clans competed in mixed teams (abled and disabled), with matches followed by shared camel-milk tea and dialogue. A boccia ball doesn’t care about your clan—it only seeks the jack, said elder Duba Lengurisi. The event reduced inter-clan tensions by 58% in participating zones (per county data). UNDP will fund 50 more kits for cross-border tournaments with Ethiopia in 2026.
