Kenya Hosts Inaugural 350 Hours of Sport Festival to Celebrate National Unity

by KenyaPolls

To mark its 350th national sports milestone, Kenya hosted the 350 Hours of Sport Festival from November 23–December 7, 2025—50 continuous days of events across all 47 counties: camel races in Turkana, dhow regattas in Lamu, para-climbing in Nairobi, and Gusii wrestling in Kisii. Over 500,000 participants; 12 million viewers on KBC. Sport is Kenya’s truest language—spoken in every dialect, every body, every dream, said President William Ruto at the closing ceremony in Kasarani. The festival raised KSh 1 billion for grassroots sport. A documentary series, *Stadi Yetu*, premieres on K24 in January 2026.
