Nyashinski and Njerae will headline the entertainment lineup at the 2026 Magical Kenya Open, bringing star power to one of Africa’s premier golf events scheduled for February 19 to 22 at Karen Country Club in Nairobi.
The 57th edition of the tournament serves as a significant stop on the DP World Tour calendar, showcasing 144 golfers representing more than 25 nations vying for a USD 2.7 million prize purse.
South Africa’s Jacques Kruyswijk will return to defend his title, with Kenya fielding an 18-player contingent under captain Edwin Mudanyi.
On the course, competition commences at 4:30 am on Thursday and Friday, with weekend play starting at 5:00 am.
The four-day stroke play format features a cut after Friday’s second round, reducing the field for Moving Day and Sunday’s final round. Global broadcast coverage will be available in the afternoon throughout all four days.
Away from the greens, the Johnnie Walker Entertainment Village will elevate the tournament into a complete lifestyle experience.
Nyashinski will take center stage on Saturday, February 21, following Round Three, where fans can expect to hear his greatest hits and perhaps advance tracks from his forthcoming album, The Showman Residency, scheduled for April release.
Njerae will conclude the event on Sunday, February 22, performing after the champion’s coronation in what promises to be a celebratory finale.
The weekend entertainment lineup will also showcase prominent Kenyan DJs and emcees such as DJ Nijo, Redbone, Mista C, Lisney, Daq Child, Pierra Makena, and hosts Kibunja, Gogo, and Kwambox.
Tickets can be obtained through the official Magical Kenya Open portal, with daily passes beginning at KSh 1,000 and weekend access costing KSh 2,500.
A season pass provides admission for all four days, while junior golfers under 21 holding JGF cards enter free of charge.
Combining elite golf by day and headline performances by night, the 2026 Magical Kenya Open offers a perfect fusion of sport and entertainment in Nairobi.
