The Kenya Prisons women’s volleyball team successfully defended their title at the regional KIFZA championships held in Kigali, Rwanda. The team, a dominant force in East African volleyball, displayed their class throughout the tournament, dropping only a single set on their way to the final. In the championship match, they faced a determined APR FC of Rwanda but were ultimately too strong, winning in straight sets. The victory was a testament to the team’s consistency and the strong developmental structures within the Kenya Prisons service. The win served as perfect preparation for the team as they set their sights on defending their national league title and competing in the African Club Championships.
