Kenya delivered a commendable performance at the 13th African Games held in Accra, Ghana, finishing fifth overall on the medal table. The country’s athletes excelled across multiple disciplines, with athletics, as usual, providing the bulk of the medals. Notable performances included gold medals from sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala in the 100m and 4x100m relay, as well as dominant displays from the middle and long-distance running teams.
