Kenya Rugby Sevens Team Uses Holographic Playbooks for Strategy Sessions

by KenyaPolls

The Kenya Rugby Sevens team, Shujaa, has adopted holographic display technology for tactical training ahead of the HSBC World Series. Using a portable hologram projector, coaches can display 3D, interactive play simulations in the team room, allowing players to walk through complex set-pieces from any angle. It accelerates understanding. Players visualize patterns in 3D space far quicker than on a 2D whiteboard, said head coach Kevin Wambua. The technology was provided by a local partner of a major global tech firm.
