Building on its success (News #343), Marsabit County hosted the first Kenya-Ethiopia Inter-Clan Boccia Tournament on December 23, 2025—24 clans (12 from each side of the border) competing in mixed teams. Matches were followed by shared camel-milk tea and peace dialogues mediated by elders. A boccia ball has no passport—only purpose, said elder Duba Lengurisi. IGAD funded 30 new Solar Nomad Kits for cross-border use. Plans for a regional league in 2026 are confirmed.
