Kenya’s dodgeball team, the *Swift Eagles*, dominated the 2025 Africa Dodgeball Cup in Dar es Salaam on February 24, 2025—winning gold in men’s, women’s, and mixed categories. The sport, revived in 2023 through PE teacher networks, now has 240 school clubs. Captain Brian Kimani (Nakuru) was named MVP after a 1v3 final-round comeback against Tanzania. Dodgeball teaches evasion, strategy, and humility—all in 3 minutes, he said. The Kenya Dodgeball Federation received KSh 15 million from SportPesa to build foam-wall courts in youth centers. CAF is considering it as a youth engagement tool for AFCON festivals. Kenya will host the 2026 Worlds qualifiers.
