Kenya’s National Boccia for Amputees Team Wins Africa Gold

Kenya’s amputee boccia team—the *Precision Stars*—won gold in BC4 mixed at the 2025 Africa Para Boccia Champs in Tunis on June 1, 2025. Using ramped throws and adaptive grips, Mary Njoki and David Omondi defeated South Africa 11–5. Boccia teaches control—not just force, said Njoki. The Kenya Boccia Federation now has 3 amputee clubs. Safaricom pledged KSh 20 million. Kenya qualifies for the 2026 World Para Champs.
