Following successful pilots (News #241), World Athletics formally adopted Kenya’s Star Navigation Running (SNR) Protocol for heat-resilience training on September 20, 2025. The protocol—using celestial cues, pulse-based pacing, and traditional cooling methods—will be integrated into WA’s *Hot Weather Competition Guidelines* for events in Qatar, UAE, and Australia. Kenya didn’t just adapt to heat—it redefined wisdom in it, said WA President Sebastian Coe. Athletics Kenya will train 100 international coaches in SNR by 2026. A documentary, *Guided by Stars*, premieres at the Nairobi Film Festival in November.
