Governor George Natembeya has commissioned construction of a new county headquarters in Kitale at a cost of Sh600 million. The project aims to consolidate all county departments under one roof and address longstanding challenges in service delivery.
Purpose of the New Headquarters
Streamline service delivery: Residents will no longer need to travel between scattered offices.
Improve working conditions: Dedicated employees currently work in inadequate spaces; the new block will provide a conducive environment.

Community use of old county hall: Plans include transforming the current county hall into a library, recreation park, and cultural center.
