Security guard shot dead in early-morning Kahawa West liquor store robbery

In a tragic incident early on December 4, 2025, a guard was killed when armed robbers struck a liquor store in the Kahawa West area of Nairobi. The criminals broke in around 4:00 a.m., destroyed the store’s CCTV system and looted about KSh 2.5 million worth of goods before fleeing.
