Graduates of Kenya’s Para-Coach Certification (News #342) opened the nation’s first 3 Integrated Sports Schools in Nairobi, Nakuru, and Mombasa on December 22, 2025—where abled and disabled students train side-by-side in boccia, goalball, athletics, and teqball. Inclusion isn’t a program—it’s a place, said director Evans Mwangi. Each school serves 300 students; 40% have disabilities. Safaricom pledged KSh 120 million for equipment. The Ministry of Education will replicate the model in 10 counties by 2027.
