Nakuru County won the 2025 National School Adaptive Archery Championship in Lang’ata on May 3, 2025—fielding integrated teams using mouth tabs, voice sights, and tactile targets. Standout: 16-year-old Ian Mwangi (arm impairment), who scored 642/720. Archery teaches focus—not just aim, said coach Jane Kamau. The county built Kenya’s first school adaptive archery range. Safaricom donated 30 kits. East Africa Schools Adaptive Archery Fest planned for 2026.
