Mudavadi Appointed as Foreign Affairs CS in Ruto’s Cabinet Reshuffle

by KenyaPolls

President William Ruto has executed a mini-reshuffle of his Cabinet, appointing Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi as the new Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs. The move consolidates Mudavadi’s role as a key diplomatic face of the administration. Former Marsabit Governor Mohamud Ali takes over the Ministry of Defence, while former MP Isaiah Kabira is named the new Head of the Presidential Communication Service (PCS). The changes are seen as an effort to streamline government communication and bolster Kenya’s foreign policy outreach.
