The Gusii Wrestling Academy in Kisii Town graduated its first cohort of 12 female coaches on November 26, 2025—trained in *Egesagura* technique, conflict mediation, and sports psychology. Wrestling isn’t about overpowering—it’s about guiding safely, said lead graduate Moraa Nyaboga (24). The Academy, born from the GWCR program (News #305), now partners with 30 schools. All 12 graduates have been hired by the County Education Department. UNESCO is documenting the curriculum for its *Gender-Transformative Sport* repository. A national symposium on Women as Keepers of Indigenous Sport is planned for March 2026.
