Kenya’s national 3×3 basketball team participated in a FIBA 3×3 World Tour event in Utsunomiya, Japan. The team, which qualified by winning the African qualifiers, faced off against some of the best professional 3×3 teams in the world. While they did not advance deep into the knockout stages, the experience was invaluable for the Kenyan players. They competed against world-class athletes and learned about the high-speed, physical nature of the professional tour. The participation was a crucial part of the team’s development as they aim to become a consistent force on the international 3×3 circuit and qualify for future Olympic Games.
