The Kenya Prisons men’s volleyball team were crowned the champions of the African Club Championships after a thrilling final match against Ahly of Egypt. The Kenyan side, which has been a dominant force in the region for years, displayed incredible resilience and teamwork to overcome their Egyptian rivals in a five-set epic. The victory was a culmination of a flawless campaign in the tournament, where they did not lose a single match. Key players like middle blocker Brian Melly and outside attacker Kiprono Kenei were outstanding throughout the final. The win secured Prisons’ place in the World Club Championships and was a proud moment for Kenyan men’s volleyball, proving they can compete and win against the very best in Africa.
