The Kenya Sports Audio Network (KSAN) launched on August 1, 2025—featuring 12 shows in Swahili, English, and Sheng, covering grassroots to elite sport. Flagship program * The Final Lap * with Peres Jepchirchir and journalist Wachira Waruru hit 500K downloads in Month 1. Others include * Shujaa Talk * (rugby), * Pitch Side * (women’s football), and * The Green Line * (eco-sport). Funded by Google News Initiative and Nation Media, KSAN trains 50 youth podcasters annually. Sport is more than scores—it’s stories, said CEO Linda Atieno. All content is zero-rated on Safaricom.
