Kenya’s First National Sports Innovation Hub Opens in Nairobi

The East Africa Sports Innovation Hub opened in Nairobi on September 30, 2025—co-working space for startups in sport tech, apparel, and media. Ten founding startups include *ScoutAI* (talent ID), *GreenBib* (eco-race tech), and *MindFit* (mental wellness). Funded by Safaricom, Google, and NOCK, it offers mentorship, seed grants, and prototyping labs. Innovation isn’t a luxury—it’s Kenya’s next lap, said CS Wafula. 4 startups secured investor funding in Month 1. The Hub will host the Africa Sports Tech Summit in 2026.
