Kenya’s integrated Digital Maternity System—combining the Digital Maternity Wallet, Electronic Health Records, and AI-powered risk alerts—has reduced maternal mortality by 30% in 10 pilot counties since 2023. The Ministry of Health reports that real-time monitoring of high-risk pregnancies and instant NHIF coverage have increased institutional deliveries to 92%.
