Young Kenyan chess talent Ricky Sagoo continued his meteoric rise by achieving his second International Master (IM) norm at a strong open tournament in Serbia. The 16-year-old, who has been turning heads with his mature and calculated play, competed against seasoned Grandmasters and International Masters. His performance, which included several key victories and hard-fought draws, was enough to secure the coveted norm. He is now just one norm away from becoming the youngest Kenyan ever to achieve the full IM title.
