Kenya Launches National Financial Inclusion Dashboard to Track Progress

by KenyaPolls

Kenya’s Central Bank has launched a real-time Financial Inclusion Dashboard that tracks access to credit, savings, insurance, and pensions across all 47 counties. The public platform, accessible via cbk.go.ke, shows that 89% of adults now use formal or semi-formal financial services, up from 83% in 2020. Mobile money remains the primary gateway, with 78% of users. The dashboard highlights gaps in rural insurance (32% coverage) and SME credit (only 28% of firms have loans). The CBK says data will guide policy and private sector investment to achieve 95% inclusion by 2027.
