NAVCDP Kajiado County – Knowledge Management Field Visits
Project Overview
Project: National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP)
Objective: Enhance market participation and value addition for small-scale farmers across 35 counties, including Kajiado.
Focus Areas in Kajiado: Red Meat, Dairy, Chicken, Apiculture, and Tomato value chains.
Key Activities
Knowledge Management & Monitoring:
Field visits conducted by the County Project Coordination Unit (CPCU)
Led by County Project Coordinator Mr. Phillip Koitalel and M&E Lead Mr. I. Kasaine Meikoki
Supported by Communications Panel of Experts (POEs)
Engagement:
Interaction with small and medium-scale farmers
Visits to Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and SACCOs
Evaluation:
Track project progress and assess impact
Document best practices and success stories for replication
