Interior CS Assures Nyamira Residents of Security
The Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Prof. Kithure Kindiki, has assured residents of Nyamira County of their safety and security, affirming that the government has deployed adequate resources to combat crime. The CS gave the assurance during a working tour of the county, where he assessed the security situation and held meetings with local security managers. He stated that the National Police Service is fully alert and capable of dealing with any threats to public order.

Prof. Kindiki directed the security teams in the county to intensify patrols, especially in areas that have recently experienced incidents of mugging and burglary. He emphasized the government’s zero-tolerance policy on crime and warned criminal elements that they would be pursued, apprehended, and prosecuted. The CS also called for greater collaboration between the public and security agencies, urging residents to report suspicious activities through the provided channels.

The CS’s visit and assurances are part of a broader government initiative to bolster public confidence in security organs across the country. He reiterated the state’s commitment to protecting lives and property, which is a fundamental prerequisite for socio-economic development. The residents welcomed the CS’s message, expressing hope that the enhanced security measures would lead to a more peaceful and secure environment.
