Governor Nathif Jama Adam Faces Senate Scrutiny Over Corruption and Nepotism Allegations
Garissa, 25th November 2025 – Governor Nathif Jama Adam is under intense scrutiny following allegations of corruption, nepotism, and mismanagement of county resources. The Senate Committee on Devolution and Inter-Governmental Relations questioned Adam over the administration of Garissa County in the absence of substantive accounting officers, with concerns mounting over financial oversight and transparency.
