He was hurt, and it was quite shocking, said a nearby resident who asked not to be named. The suspect reportedly attempted to scale a compound wall but lost his balance, falling and sustaining injuries before he could gain entry.
Local police arrived at the scene shortly after the fall and provided first aid to the suspect before transporting him to a nearby health facility for treatment. According to the Kiambu County Police spokesperson, the suspect is currently receiving medical attention while authorities continue their investigation. This was a clear case of attempted burglary. Our team responded quickly, and fortunately, no residents were harmed during the incident, the spokesperson said.
