Kapenguria, West Pokot – A delegation from the National Enterprise Development Initiative (NEDI) visited Governor Simon Kachapin to strengthen collaboration on youth and women economic empowerment.
NEDI, a national program, provides entrepreneurship support for vulnerable groups through seed funding, capacity building, and business development services. The initiative works closely with county governments to identify and support high-potential local enterprises.
Governor Kachapin reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting economic empowerment, job creation, and sustainable development. Both parties agreed to explore structured partnerships to uplift youth and women entrepreneurs in West Pokot.
