Bomet County Empowers Youth Through Innovative Conference
Bomet County hosted a dynamic Youth Conference on 25th April 2024 at the Bomet Green Stadium, attracting over 1,500 participants from across the county. The full-day event aimed to empower young people with practical skills and knowledge to navigate the challenges of modern life, fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship, innovation, and self-reliance.
The conference featured a distinguished panel of experts from diverse sectors who addressed critical topics such as entrepreneurship, digital opportunities, and job market linkages. In a bid to further support youth initiatives, Bomet Governor Prof. Hillary Barchok announced plans for a county-wide business idea competition. The competition is expected to provide young entrepreneurs with a platform to showcase their ideas, access mentorship, and secure funding to transform their concepts into viable businesses.
