Mombasa Residents Take Part in Public Participation for County’s Fourth Medium-Term Plan
Residents of Mombasa County have actively engaged in public consultations for the Fourth Medium-Term Plan (2023–2027). The initiative aims to involve citizens in shaping development priorities and projects that will guide the county’s socio-economic growth over the next four years.

County officials encouraged participation to ensure that local communities’ needs and concerns are reflected in the final plan, particularly in areas such as infrastructure, health, education, and economic development.

The public engagement sessions form part of the county’s commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and citizen-driven governance, a move seen as key to achieving sustainable development goals at the county level.
